About Us

Bellissimo is a family run business owned by sister in laws Sandra and Nicky, In past years we have enjoyed going to many lovely events, enjoyed getting dressed up and feeling good, but after having a real problem last year trying to find beautiful and different hats to hire for the St Ledger, we realised there was a shortage of local suppliers. We ended up purchasing expensive hats, that we will never wear again, and have the added problem of where to store them afterwards.

For the Races, we also purchased two beautiful stunning umbrellas, we were astounded by the amount of attention they brought us. Everyone loved them, their comments were amazing, and this made us feel very special, and that we had something different to everyone else. As well as completing our outfits, they held off the rain that inevitably came.

It suddenly dawned on us that there was a niche in the market for just such things. We decided we would set up a business selling beautiful hats and umbrellas, we also said it would be nice if we could also hire out our products on a daily basis along, with beautiful fascinators, and accessories. This way our customers could have a different hat and umbrella for every occasion. As a result Bellissimo was born,

We have daughters and nieces who like to dress up, go out attending Events like Weddings and Race meetings Proms and Balls etc., so we decided we would put together a choice of packages consisting of a Hat/ fascinator, fine jewellery, Wraps, Corsages, Handbag and umbrella, all of which we now have in stock, soon we are hoping to add a beautiful clothing range to our collection.
